There are no job opportunities in rural areas. 100 unemployed people are employed by the organisation through the Expanded Public works programme (EPWP) every year.
The organisations employs 50 community care givers in the Zululand District Municipality every year. The community care givers render health care education in rural communities, do house hold chores in the homesteads of the sick and collect medication from the local clinics for the sick community members. Community awareness campaigns on all social ills are conducted in the communities.
The AYP Programme (2022 - 2025) offers a risk avoidance, age-tailored combination prevention programme for AYP aged 10-24 years in 14 priority sub-districts. The programme targets AYP (i.e.) AGYW, ABYM, ALHIV and Youth with Disabilities; in and out of school, but will not decline service provision to other populations who are engaged by the programme (i.e. members of the broader community).
